The Un named Kap Rock 3yo filly is a new unbroken recruit sourced from Ireland. She is from a family we know well having won with half sister Fusee De Pouche and more recently three time winner Land Girl’s Luck.
The Pedigree
The Sire: Kap Rock stands at Knockhouse Stud in Ireland and has produced some talented horses including the likes of Espior De Romay and Diesel D’Allier. Kap Rock himself was a winning hurdler in France and is a half brother to the highly regarded Kapgarde.
The Dam: IsItYourself is a mare we know well. Having only ran twice for Willie Mullins, she won her bumper and was third in a maiden hurdle before going to stud. We have followed this mare closely and purchased 4 of her progeny. Fusee De Pouche was a filly we bought which won a bumper for us first time out before we sold her to America. Land Girl’s Luck was placed in bumpers for us before being a model of consistency and winning 3 hurdle races and being placed numerous times. We also have the full brother, Kap In Hand, which is unraced but we regard him highly at home
Future Plans
The plan with this filly is to break her in, give her some quiet time to grow before bringing her in to training as a 4 year old in the new year. The family is a genuine, tough family that has proven time and time again that they’re tough, versatile horses that win plenty of races
